The government's unit pricing scheme must do more

It shows that this government, on its current record, cannot be relied on to do anything about helping out consumers. Neither can any government, but we are talking about now.

How can forcing Coles, Woolies to extend their unit pricing to cover all items benefit consumers given that the cost of such an exercise will be largely paid for by consumers. As I said earlier I suspect those consumer advocates don't do the weekly or fortnightly shopping.
