The success of the 'Grundgesetz’s' basic rights catalogue has implications for the Australian National Consultation on Human Rights.

"Trust me I'm from the Government"
OR
"Trust me I'm a Judge"
Are either of these really believable?

How many of us in our day to day affairs willingly involve politicians or lawyers in our day to day affairs?

These professions are necessary evils but we must keep trying to restrict their direct influence to not much more than stopping street fights, pub brawls and the like as well as keeping our schools and hospitals open and running! These are activities they seem to need to spend more time on!
