Arjay, the possibility of local government being able to afford to fund health, education and infrastructure as we know it is probably in the realm of zero percent.

I'm not sure what you define as "cyber money". All modern economies use fiat currency. The government spends by creating money from nowhere which then appears as deposits in the commercial banking system. It is the way in which new currency enters the economy.

It is impossible for government to disengage completely from the economy. Without their deficit spending, the only way to fuel economic growth is to expand private debt and liquidate private savings - but this cannot continue forever. As long as the federal government is in surplus, no new net currency is entering the system.

We need to recognise the need for balance between the federal government and the private sector. They are two sides of the same coin.
