Success of the relationship between carer and those with disabilities/different abilities is critically important not only for those directly affected by disability but members of the wider community. The creation of mutually beneficial partnerships, as describe by Peter, has the potential to alter the dynamic between the variety of additional societal demands including funding, retention and satisfaction of staff, as well as maximising the full human potential of all members of society.
