A bid by a US-based pharmaceutical firm to manufacture generic drugs for export has run into the vested interests of Australian pharmaceutical companies.

Our politicians are totally beholden to the big business interests.
After all, they still allow Big Tobacco to freebase their tobacco products.
Alas, I would not expect any progress here...
