With Barack Obama and the Democrats in power it is expected relations between the US and Latin America will improve.

The interference by the USA over the past decades,in South American countries, it is hoped will come to an end with Obama.

One only has to remember El Salavador, Chile, Quatamala, Grenada and Nigaragua, putting aside the current illegal armed abuse in the Middle East. The interference by the USA in sovereign countries must cease if the USA, is to be respected again.
