I have printed for poets, there was little profit, if any.
Type styles are for ever being redesigned and using the old styles quickly one runs out of options.
It is hard to imagine that the styles now available to you on computers are not satisfactory?
The most attractive I imagine for you is mono type? As it is now available as "photo setting".
Smith and Miles in Sydney had such a plant in my day, weight no problem for post, no filthy hands no weight and all the other advantages of modern tech.
I know you want to do it the old fashioned way! editing as you set?
not in my business thankyou!
What about finding an arty type student to do lettering for you say 1.5 "up" and using photo lith. to print it?
Could I suggest you are trying to use a tech. truly outdated? mostly now unavailable?
The only asset a printer frequently had was his type, got melted at the first financial hurdle.
I'm glad your not my problem anymore.
