By David Flint, published 14/9/2007

Abolishing the States is undesirable, completely unachievable and would be overwhelmingly rejected in any referendum.

Lets be clear it is not the Constitution that is causing the problems but rather it are the politicians in their ever ongoing quest for more power and the judges for wanting to exceed their judicial powers why we are ending up in such utter mesh!

As my blog sets out the constitution provided for separation of powers, those for the Federation and those remaining with the States and it is here where the Commonwealth of Australia is unconstitutionally taking more and more powers.
.
Either we have the RULE OF LAW or we don’t. Meaning, the RULE OF LAW is what is constitutionally permissible, not what every Dick and harry politician pretends to make of it.
.
The High Court of Australia unconstitutionally approved of the Australia Act 1986, beyond its constitutional powers! By this changing a “constitutional parliament” into a “sovereign parliament” that no longer requires the approval of the People (that is us) to amend the Constitution! This is very dangerous to permit, and we have seen with the lies and deceit to invade another country on the basis of WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION how this unconstitutional grabbing of prerogative powers can result too.
One day some other country may just inflict the same upon us!

For this, we must ensure to obey the RULE OF LAW, as is constitutionally permissible and not what politicians or judges want to fabricate from it.

My issue is not if a Republic or a Monarchy is better rather that as the Constitution now is prevailing we are subjects of the British Crown under the reign of the British Monarch unless and until this is changed by the People themselves!

The moment we accept for politicians and judges to disregard the true meaning and application of the Constitution, as amended by successful referendums, we have no longer a RULE OF LAW but have a DICTATORSHIP.
.
The Governor-General (for the British Monarchy) is the Administrator of the Commonwealth of Australia and Ministers (including the Prime Minister) do no more but to assist him in his duties!
