By Alan Moran, published 21/2/2007

Very few people within regulatory agencies, such as the ACCC, understand business.

No doubt Mr Moran would be delighted with the lack of regulation for pollutant industries where Conditions of Licences are written to accommodate the polluter in their zest for profits.

These "regulators" (departments of environment), who we pay to protect the environment, protect polluters at the expense of the environment and community health and unbelievably, defend pollutant industries during any community protests or appeals.

And Mr Costello, in his endeavours to gag any opposition to their grand plans, is to give the ACCC the powers to sue environmentalists, unionists and any other group who protest against unethical farming practices, logging companies, other primary producers etc etc.

Of course these industries will be exempted from the boycott and able to make any allegations they wish to.

So stop your sookin' Mr Moran - all is going to plan!
