lovely story. my sisters and i often take my mother(88) to funerals in her home town, Yass.NSW.and my birthplace. as i live in sydney now, i am always glad to be back home, even just for the day. talking to cousins i never see, is as if i talk to them every day. warm, accepting and somehow comforting. they don't know me, yet they all come up to me and happily tell me who i look like, and their family histories. i wonder will we still go when mum passes away? probably.
