- Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act. According to theage.com.au 7/12/06 “The Environment and Heritage Legislation Amendment Bill (No.1) 2006 reduces processing time and costs for developers, relaxes environmental assessments and simplifies development approvals for large projects like the controversial liquefied natural gas scheme on Western Australia's Burrup Peninsula.

Why is this SO important to Howard?
Why give 60mil. to Cheveron, a doggy company for a doggy environment scheme.
WHY is the media ignoring what is happening in WA?

It it because of all Chevron's republican mates in the USA administration and Johnny is ingratiating himself?

Climate change is being handled like a drunken space ship! What does one expect when you have Ian Campbell, a commercial and industry property consultant at the helm of the federal environment portfolio?

Have a look at the latest disgusting actions of the WA environment minister (McGowan), a lawyer and clearly aligned with pollutant industries.

Then you have the industry aligned EPAs and DECs who feed these pollies heaps of misinformation when relaying advice on environmental concerns raised by the public, and ensuring that ministerial decisions lean in favour of the serial polluters!

Already the WA Corruption and Crime Commission has exposed the covert fraternisation between industry lobbyists and the heads of EPA and DEC whilst environmental assessments were pending.

So, we have environment ministers, who wouldn't know a VOC from a sock, and their senior personnel, with an uncontrolled bash the greenies culture, who are flying an erratic toxic space ship whilst catatonically humming the Flight of the Bumble Bee!
