HelenK As a sufferer of chronic major depression, and many other related illnesses, coming as a direct result of the workplace, I agree with your post completely. To investigate the causes, especially in workplaces, is one of few ways to decrease the incidence of the illness, especially sad then to see employers given even greater power to do whatever they like to an employee. Most employers I would say are good employer's, however sadly there is a large minority out there who will use these new found powers to further exploit the employee, thus causing depression rates to remain on the upward direction.
