Al,a simple formula can determine a basic worker's payment. We don't need all these interest groups cashing in,in the guise of protecting worker's interest. Most people today are paid above the basic wage because employers want skilled and trustworthy people. There is just too much regulation, red tape,OH&S compliance, fear of litigation, the worker's comp debacle, unfair dismissal, for employers to be bothered.Employers now hate employing people. In a small business, they can destroy your life.Govt and legal constraints are making it almost impossible for the less able to find work. The more we protect people, the more we tend to hurt them.
