People like Charlie are why the Qld government had to declare the Vegetation Management Act, which it was clearly mandated to do after its win last year - ending broadscale land clearing after decades of destruction in the name of unsustainable agricultural practices. If the Tasmanian government had similar balls environmental activists wouldn't have to resort to the tactics they do in order to draw attention to the disgraceful environmental vandalism of Gunns.

If people like the "Gunns 20" hadn't been effective to at least some degree, we wouldn't have even seen the inadequate compromise package announced last weekend. These people are heroes and our children will thank them.
