I would rather America as world leader as they represent democracy, and for now, that is the best thing we have to represent people and freedom of choice.

America's corporate society is hard to digest and sometimes I wish the government, or whomever it is, would cut ties with big business and Saudi money (that funds terrorism)and seriously work on comabatting terrorism and establishing real democracy (not partial democracy where the royal family appoints half the members).

However, we are talking about a people that have never been able to unite themselves. I think the Kurds are doing it and Im sure there are others but I dont want to sound like I'm pontificating. The point is, are you going to sit or are you going to stand?! WE live in a democracy and we can criticise to our hearts' content, everyone should be so lucky.

It comforts me to read Mr Deane's articles because I think he is right and fighting for the right side

Alexander Dean's article provoked naive messages of support for America from Sayonet and Roberto. Roberto asks the question: 'when there is a crisis, who are you going to call?'
All too often, dear Roberto, the country you advocate calling in a crisis is the one that created the crisis in the first place.
Interestingly, America, currently, is demanding that Syria cease its occupation of Lebanon. Yet America has supported the brutal Israeli occupation of Palestine for thirty-eight years.
Is it any wonder that America is hated and feared by many?
