At the risk of detracting from this very funny, light hearted but serious article I'd like to point out, let's not forget about the men. They are a whole new marketing sector and there are already skin products for men. I suspect that on average they have higher self esteem and will not be sucked in by this marketing bilge. If only all our teens, of both sexes, were being raised this way. Still, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon - I know of two teenagers who are very aware of the marketing hype and are resisting as hard as they can!
