How does this match with the fact that China is not obliged to reduce carbon dioxide emissions ? Are you discounting the claims that carbon dioxide causes global warming?

China's economy is booming because of one major reason.
Artificial labor costs and inhuman work conditions and wages, forced upon a powerless population by a totalitarian state. Is it any wonder that competing against China products is difficult if not impossible.

When our trade dept wants to sell lots of agricultural produce to China, it is reluctant to punish china's oppressive labor conditions with justifiable tarrifs. Vested interests prevail.
