My first gripe may be pedantic, but it gets right up my left nostril every time. The USA is not America. America is several continents, of which the USA is but 1 country on the North American continent. Stop calling the USA America. It isn’t.

I do an Angela Merkel worthy eye role every time I read a commentator on this blog bemoan the :…left wing, communist, Marxist, woke destruction of western civilization as we know it …” syndrome. Good grief, as Alon has so clearly mapped out for you, you are watching that in real time right now in the USA, being lead by an extremist fascist, not a left wing Marxist. Get a grip people.

Quite a poetic essay there full of flowery assertions.

A shame it didn't contain a single verifiable fact.

I agree with mhaze, laughable, I would disagree most of the claims that Alon Ben-Meir makes here. Alon Ben-Meir seems to be proof that the universities are corrupt and detached from the identity of the societies that they are supposed to represent, and need to be defunded as the first order of business. It seems that tenure has created a class of untouchables, and they've gone rouge. Business is open to anybody in theory, academia isn't, it promotes from the top, isn't checked by nature. Academia has been enslaving business in corporatism for 50 years- and when the people suffer the academics double down on blaming the businesses. Woke Marxist Managerialism is about the farmers and factory workers living in an idealistic system created by the academic aristocracy- an academic power grab. Don't trust a system where the elites don't place a limit on their own power.

Business isn't idealistic it's practical.

Traditionalism is the foundation of the US not Wokist Marxist blank slate-ism. Traditionalism is the original political structure that Woke Marxism wants to replace and deny.
