Bluster without strategy: Trump’s ill-fated Iran war : Comments

By Alon Ben-Meir, published 9/4/2026

Trump’s address to the nation on the Iran war was intended to project control and resolve. Instead, it revealed indecision and disarray, marked by contradictions, self praise, and shifting objectives.

The world may well be a much safer place without both that child, trump, and his protege netanyahu.
Both of them idiots.

I reckon you have perfectly nailed the issues firmly on the head there Alon.

Personally I'm sure Donny's brain has turned to mush from sitting up late at night, slurping on Pepsi, stuffing cheeseburgers down his face while watching too many Mafia movies. His delusion convinces him that he is a real "Don" of the world.

Society makes progress because a majority of people have minds configured to be constructive and supportive of each other.
Unfortunately, there are those whose brains are configured to work with different priorities.
Such as in Mr Trump's case.
However, he is not a liar or something else unpleasant.
He firmly believes he is right, so he is not telling lies.
He is simply wrong, but doesn't know it,
Also unfortunately, with such a different outlook, he can cause great harm to those around him.
But the wider population there selected him as President.
So it is those same persons who must eventually deselect him.

Or they can wait for his term as president to run out.
Should they wait that long?
There are legal ways to effect his removal before then.
Whatever happens, he has definitely caused a stir.
And I suppose there must be some good in that.
