Iran’s drones cost $35,000. America’s missiles cost millions. The war’s economics are starting to look ugly.

The US has imposed crippling sanctions on Iran ever since the Iranian revolution in 1979, when the Iranian people overthrew the US-installed Shah and ended Western control over their vast oil reserves. For the best part of the last 47 years, these cruel and legally-dubious sanctions have strangled the Iranian economy and made life extremely difficult for all Iranians. Is it any wonder the West is so hated by so many in the middle east?

Iran knew this US attack would eventually happen. It’s had a long time to prepare and has strategically planned to exact maximum damage on its attackers and their supporters. Iran will end this war, a war it didn’t start, on its own terms. I doubt it will ever make deals with the US and its Western allies ever again. It’s been burnt by Western deceit and duplicity one too many times!

Iran was seriously engaging in talks with the US, on limiting its uranium enrichment in exchange for the lifting of sanctions, when the US launched its war. While Iran was negotiating in good faith and genuinely believing progress was being made, the US obviously had no intention of ever allowing these talks to reach an outcome ... and was all along planning war. Says it all really!

Those captured by the ABC propaganda wing of the Chinese communist party and poor old deluded Tucker Carlson, seem to predominate here now.
The voice of true conservative thinking seems to have died with the LNP…Interesting, but why is a good question, has the Conservative voice disappeared from OLO comments, and to where have they moved?
