By Binoy Kampmark, published 2/3/2026

Imminent threat, regime change, decisive strikes. Haven’t we heard this before?

>>Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statement also confirmed the objective of ending "the threat of the Ayatollah regime in Iran." That regime had domestically repressed its citizens, "instilled fear in the peoples of the region", created a global terror network, "invested enormous resources to develop atomic bombs and tens of thousands of missiles intended, as it defined it, to erase Israel from the map of the world." They armed "terrorist proxies".<<

'Accuse others of what you're doing.'
This tactic is often used to deflect criticism, create confusion, and shift the burden of proof onto an opponent. By proactively accusing the opposition of the very tactics one is employing, a person or group may neutralize potential attacks and place the target on the defensive.

Trumps a suspected blackmailed pedophile, and a coward and a scumbag.
Why isn't anyone talking about the 13 year old he smacked across the face when she bit him giving him a bj, claims from FBI Epstein files?

Trumps owned by the Zionists.
And he murders people under the cover of a white flag and has gotten Americans killed as well.

I think Iran should've attacked Israel and American bases first under 'pre-emptive self-defence' the moment ambassadors were getting on flights.
Now US / Israel have gone into Iran and killed the Shia Islamic equivalent of going to Rome and assassinating the Pope.

Israel and the US attacked Iran,
Iran has every right to respond in kind.

How “many” American minds does this bloke have access to enable him to make such a wild statement about them not knowing Iran from Iraq? And why does it matter? Like Australians, Americans have no say in what goes on.

The big difference between Americans and Australians is that the Americans voted for a real leader who does what has to be done, while Australians voted for a nasty little Socialist who is wrecking the joint. And his foreign minister so-called bleats for dialogue with the most evil people on Earth. Thankfully, America and Israel kill them, to the delight of Iranians, who have suffered under the rotten mongrels for close to half a century.

Troops on the ground? What rubbish. Even if American (maybe even Australian) troops could possibly be dropped in, it wouldn't be before the arena was softened up.

Besides, Iranians need to do something for themselves. America and Israel are making it easier for them, and the servants of the mad mullahs are already changing sides.

Kampmark's ignorant waffle might go down a treat in his university bubble, but it is crap in the real world.

Wow, what a surprise! Binoy came out opposed to a Trump policy. He must be getting close to celebrating his 100th anti-Trump article.

As usual, I will adopt the policy that due to the fog of war, we can't make educated comments on the progress of the conflict. But that the final confrontation with Iranian Islamic fundamentalism was way overdue is clear. The world will be a better and safer place if the regime can be replaced.

"Why isn't anyone talking about the 13 year old he smacked across the face when she bit him giving him a bj, claims from FBI Epstein files?"

Because everyone knows,(except for you apparently) that she was a fraud, merely out for a payout from the Epstein estate.

One of the biggest presidential campaign deceptions in modern US history:

President Trump in 2020: "We've spent $8 trillion in the Middle East and we're not fixing our roads in this country? How stupid. How stupid is it? And we're not fixing our tunnels, our bridges, our hospitals, our schools? It's crazy."

["We must abandon the failed policy of nation building and regime change that Hilary Clinto pushed in Iraq, Syria, and Egypt...."]
Remember all those times Trump said regime change in Iran would be a disaster?
I do.
But jews get what jews want.

[Trump became the swamp he campaigned against, his entire presidency is a LIE]

Trump told Iranians to “take the streets and reclaim their government”. So they did, and they are chanting “D€ath to America and Israel” and calling for revenge. I bet Trump excepted a different outcome from Khamenei assassination.

Thousands of Iranians took to the streets of Tehran in support of the Republic’s authorities, despite explosions and active air defenses overhead.

Gathered in memory of slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, they refuse to leave the squares, chanting anti-U.S. and anti-Israeli slogans as air defenses intercept Epstein Coalition missiles above them.

--

The West is banking on the Iranians rising up, but their command and control is compartmentalised and the US and Israel wont commit ground troops themselves.
If America doesn't get a regime change fast, he'll blame the Iranians for 'not rising up', and they'll have to make a deal when they run short on weapons, and Iran can build more missiles underground than the US can even now.
