Pressure Jordan - not Israel - to end the Jewish-Arab conflict : Comments

By David Singer, published 20/2/2026

As Arab states reaffirm the two-state formula, a shelved proposal to merge Jordan and Palestine resurfaces. Is the region ignoring its own alternative?

Funny how Shihabi never suggested they move to Saudi Arabia, right?

Also funny how you're focussing on what Palestinians should do, instead of focussing on what your own people should do.

Tell me David why shouldn't the Israelis move instead?

If you recognise a principle of self determination, then what the Palestinians do is essentially none of your business.

If you don't give them self determination, don't complain when the angry and oppressed decide to take that out on your people.
They have a right to resist oppression under international law.

No amount of bs manipulation or prepaid narratives blurring how people see and understand cause and effect will ever change the facts.

Did you cheat the bar exam David?
You don't seem to know the law very well.

Targeting Occupying Troops: International law generally permits armed resistance against the armed forces of an occupying power. Resistance fighters (or "liberation movements") are recognized as combatants, and killing armed occupying soldiers during an armed conflict is considered a legitimate act of war under this framework.

Protection of Civilians: The killing of civilians is prohibited. Civilians, including civilians of the occupying power (such as settlers in occupied territory), are "protected persons" under the Fourth Geneva Convention. Deliberate, indiscriminate, or direct attacks on civilians are illegal, regardless of the legality of the occupation itself.

When the Palestinians attack IDF, that's all legal.
But when Israelis shoot innocent women and kids, both the Israeli government and the individual should be publicly vilified and both should be held accountable for war crimes.

The problem with Jews seems to be that they think they can fight the whole entire world and win.
Look at the attitude and audacity on display here.
Who goes to Tokyo, and starts verbally chastising the Japanese on their own streets?

If you want to understand why the world thinks little of you look inward, though I'm not sure you're collectively capable of truly being honest with yourselves.

If one amongst you was honest, then a million amongst you would tell them to shut up.

You have to put a fake 'terrorist' label on them when all they do is defend their land and people or act out in frustration against your continued occupation, oppression and atrocities.

Israel declared charity who raised alarm over rape in Israeli prison a terrorist entity.

The six organizations are the Palestine branch of Defense for Children International (DCI-P), Al-Haq, Addameer for Prisoner Support and Human Rights, the Bisan Center, the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees, and Union of Agricultural Work Committees. (Notably, the Samidoun Prisoner Solidarity Network was also slammed with a “terrorist” designation in February.) The move effectively outlaws their activities and puts their staffers at risk of prosecution.

Both the Palestinian public and the International Community rely heavily on all of these organizations for data and analysis about human rights abuses faced by Palestinians throughout the region. Al Haq, for instance, is a human rights organization that, in its own words, “documents violations of the individual and collective rights of Palestinians” in occupied Palestine, “irrespective of the identity of the perpetrator.” It works closely with the United Nations and other international organizations and has received numerous awards, including the Carter-Menil Human Rights Foundation Prize.

Can't have anyone documenting the war crimes can you?

Labeling these people as terrorists is par for the course when considered with assassinating journalists and their families.

But then, you're such a messed up group of people you'd go to war with your own people if even they disagreed with any official narrative, and there's plenty of evidence for that.

The fact you attack your own tells me Jews are essentially at war with the whole entire world, at heart.
