If the US sold us submarines,they would be short themselves, and they would be subs they lose control of because the fickle Albanese government won't say whether or not they would side with America if a conflict with China occurs. I don't know why Trump doesn't cut Australia altogether. As it is, he still hasn't bothered to send us a new ambassador since the last one returned to the US.
