Thanks Stuart! Good advice for our Prime Minister.I have some more. A little stronger. Mr Albanese, you have been put in this high position by the Lord, it is an honour but more importantly, a place of great responsibility. You are not there to do as you please, but to serve the people of Australia and do what is best for them. Of far greater seriousness still, you are answerable to the Lord. The day will come when He will ask you how did you honour Him, how did you use the resources and abilities He placed under your authority? Did you seek His will and His wisdom? If not you are in great trouble because He has made available all the help you need through His word, the Bible. "The fear (respect, reverence) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7 I pray you dont continue to be foolish because we are all suffering and it will end badly for you.

Answer to the Lord? That would be all good and well, if the Lord actually existed, and wasn't just the figment of certain peoples imagination. Keep believe'n it fella, it keeps you off the streets on a Sunday morning.

I've read this blokes moaning about his business failure on here before, and his blaming of the Labor government at the time, for what could have been his own incompetence and mismanagement, we'll never know.

WTF?

It's hard to know what this perennial whinger really wants.

In a previous article he states (about the possibility of Labor being returned in the last election) : "The good news is yes there are some escape destinations. A few of my pals have moved their businesses and families to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines and all are prospering in those nations that offer real incentives.

Also: "As the owner of 2 small businesses, I can tell you that if Albo is returned, I will close one down and move the other, a technology company, to the US, because Trump is making it attractive with sensible tax structures and incentives.

Personally, I like the Pacific and Hawaii appeals to me as a US destination for the business".

In this latest article he is ranting on about the wonderful natural resources Australia has - and his desire that both the land and sea be strip-mined for profit. It must be all part of god's plan, of course.

Hi WTF,

For this bloke "offer real incentives" given the countries he's named means, lack of regulation in such areas as worker safety and conditions, who cares if some coolie dies on the job, easily replaced, and the total exploitation of cheap (slave) labour, what a bonus.

As compelling as Stuart's personal story is, the mindset that helps an individual recover does not automatically scale to governing an entire country.

Individuals can take risks, externalise costs, and walk away if things fail. Governments can't.

Mining, dredging, fishing and energy policy all involve long-term costs borne by people who aren't in the room yet. That's not ideology, it's why regulation exists at all.

Focusing only on what we have, without accounting for what we risk losing, is asset liquidation - not leadership.
