By Alon Ben-Meir, published 7/1/2026Trump's invasion of Venezuela to seize its oil under the pretense of combating drug trafficking is an act of piracy that shatters what’s left of America’s moral, legal, and ideological standing.

This is actually a pretty decent article.
"Trump will sooner or later go, but you will have to live with shame for lacking the courage to take a stand when your country's future is hanging in the balance." 38 trillion in debt. Money Printer on, Chinese buying gold and selling US treasuries The US future does hang in the balance, that's why it's resorted to theft so they can control 20% of the worlds oil supply. Gotta knock over those countries that support Palestine too, so it's a win-win. Posted by Armchair Critic, Thursday, 8 January 2026 9:36:18 AM

Armchair Critic, Conservatism is that courage yet you et al are condemning them & especially Trump for standing up against it ! Socialism is still the heavy end of the seesaw but as people are forced by economic pressures to come to their senses, this parasitic unbalance is getting close to being reversed in favour of the revenue creators. Yes, cheering from the left when Chavez took over, and who was helping him? Economic destitution followed and no comment about that beyond blaming the US. If there is an economic recovery and a return to democracy after US intervention, I guess there will be silence again.
Meanwhile the brave citizens of Iran are fighting in the streets to overthrow the theocracy. Complete silence from the left, although the Greens in Australia voiced support for the regimes right to build nuclear weapons and protested the US bombing raid on the enrichment facility. Hi Indy,
Well that's interesting... Just watched this yesterday afternoon. Tucker Rips Shapiro & PRAISES Venezuela’s Conservative Social Values! http://youtu.be/Y84UyDktF1I Tucker Carlson: "Well, just noticing that Venezuela has banned pornography, banned abortion, banned gay marriage, banned sex changes, and banned usury. You don't have credit cards with 40% interest in Venezuela." Also while Maduro opposes Israel, he is ethnically Jewish. Why is it that all elections are now co-opted by the single issue of Israel and the Palestinians? Watch and see for yourself. For us, it's probably more like 'The house always wins' LNP 'Vote 1 for the Jew' Labor 'Vote 1 for Jew-Lite' ...Maybe their democratic shite really does stink about the same as everyone elses. I'm not even sure that Trumps capable of putting America first. Miriam Adelson and Netanyahu come first, the American people are further down the list, after the MIC, big oil, big tech, big pharma, Wall St bankers, etc. All he's done is raised the cost of living with Trump tributes, sorry I meant tariffs, and further indebted the country. He'd probably sign an executive order to have the U.S. taxpayers to pay for the removal of the Statue of Liberty and put up an even bigger statue of himself instead, if he could get away with it. And he's so worried about Venezuela shipping in drugs. Is this an admission his border wall was a waste of money, and not keeping the drugs out? Who knows, they're probably shipped in by the three letter agencies anyway, for redistribution into the black communities anyway. Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 9 January 2026 9:47:52 AM

I told you all years ago.
I don't support sanctions or overthrows, it really is that simple. Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 9 January 2026 9:50:26 AM
