Australia’s sovereignty in terms of how the US conducts its operations has been spared? Given AUKUS, this is an unsustainable claim.

The most serious hurdle for Australia right now is to decide what those who call themselves Australian want this Nation to be turned into at the next election. Australia is only one election away from not being Australia any longer.
Do people want Australia to be of European tradition & culture or do they want it to become an unmanageable hotchpotch of multi-ethnic enclaves with agendas of just plain self-interest to exploit with no regard to Australia as a cohesive society.

Interesting post last Saturday by "Indyvidual". I tend to agree with his/her assertion that we need to be looking at how Australia can be a coherent society. I was particularly interested in the question posed: do we want Australia to be of European values and traditions? My question to "Indyvidual" in return is this: what do you see as the central European values and traditions?
