Trump’s heartlessness could not have been more naked and may well irreversibly damage America’s global standing and moral commitments.

There is no morality in our modern world, only ethics, which rely on whimsical knee jerking as motivation for what once passed as morality built on Christian values; so Trump is free to roam.
The Democrats ( inclusive of this author), and their moralless followers, have a hide as thick as a cow attempting to bring trump down on his perceived lack of morals; what hypocrisy; beyond a joke.

The author has a different take of what moral commitments means. Charity begins at home first, second ,and last.
