mhaze,

You’re dismissing the evidence without addressing the core of the issue. It's the cherry-picking I predicted. First, you’ve misunderstood the CDC’s statement.

Yes, the CDC mentions ongoing monitoring, it also highlights that the vaccines were shown to reduce transmission in real-world settings, especially in the early stages of the rollout. The CDC’s study on effectiveness in preventing infection and transmission is widely cited as evidence that vaccines do reduce the spread of the virus. You can check the specifics here: CDC study.

As for the studies I brought up, you’re misinterpreting them. The Lancet study about household transmission still shows that vaccinated individuals were less likely to spread the virus, even in confined settings. And the Nature study makes it clear that vaccines reduced transmission in the wider community as well, not just in isolated places like homes or jails. It’s simple: the vaccines weren’t perfect, but they were definitely better than nothing.

You keep repeating that the vaccines weren’t designed to stop transmission, but that misses the point. Vaccines were primarily intended to prevent severe illness, and it was a natural consequence that they also reduced transmission, especially early on.

It’s easy to dismiss evidence when you refuse to engage with it, but the facts haven’t changed. You can continue to ignore the studies or cherry-pick from them, but they’re out there and they’re clear: vaccines reduce transmission and save lives.

As for the papers you provided in the past, I showed why you were cherry-picking them all. We could go through them again, but it appears you're signing out now that you've cornered yourself.

Bye, bye.
