Undue influence? There's nothing to suggest that the Australian political numpties will follow Donald Trump. They have neither the intellect nor the courage to do so.
Comparing the influence of Communist China with that of our greatest ally is not very smart of the author. China is a threat to us. Without America, we are toast: on defence and most other things. It's alarming how so many Australians don't comprehend how pathetic and vulnerable Australia has become. Posted by ttbn, Tuesday, 25 February 2025 10:34:22 AM

Left wing Canadians seem to be a bit sillier than Left wing Australians when it comes to Trump and America. Could because they abut the US of course.
Candidate to replace Trudeau, Christia Freeland, says that she is going for the job because a 4 year old little girl asked if she could stop Donald Trump from invading Canada. Typical 4 year old, into politics and interviewing politicians. The 56 year old Freeland expects people to believe the story. Freeland actually says, “And that’s why I am standing to lead the liberal party and to become the next Prime Minister of Canada.” She also says that “Trump represents the greatest threat to Canada since World War Two.” Her first move in the job could be to conscript all Canada’s 4 year olds to fight off big bad Donald. How many of you have heard of Jean Dixon ? Apparently, she foretold quite a few happenings !
One of them was "The Eagle & the Bear will unite against the Dragon". It's starting to look like she might've been right ! But first, the lunatic Left needs to be made to see the folly of its error ! Posted by Indyvidual, Tuesday, 25 February 2025 2:19:12 PM

I must admit was taken aback when you mentioned USAID and the Nationalal Endowment for Democracy.
I think you might be the first author to have mentioned them both here ever, especially in that context. I've been trying to tell the members of this forum the same thing for over a decade; Then you went and outdid yourself with the Kissinger quote which I was only just thinking of a few days back and planned to add to one of my own comments. Even in a decade, I couldn't have done a better job than what you just wrote. I take my hat off to you and clap Sir, bravo. Trump is trying to take power back to the elected 'Commander In Chief' from what has become an unelected administrative deep-state. EC is unelected and EU is an administrative state tied to NATO in Brussels, Vance chastised all of them at the Munich Security Conference for their authoritarian leanings and Trump threatens to destroy the lot by normalising ties with Russia, which would remove any need for NATO altogether. What we have now is a kind of NATO Civil War. You can see what leaders are on what side, by the Ukraine war. They're all part of a corrupted global gang, and the citizenry aren't in it. Yes but!
It ignores the complexities of the ME. Neutralising the power base of E.U. and NATO can be achieved through its shared history; where is the shared history of the West and Islam. That one is a whole different ball game. The West is badly contaminated with Islamist encroachment through its ability to buy favour. Trump is hopelessly compromised through business investments and obligations as a consequence re Turkey and Qatar. His RE dream of development of Gaza will include both of those. There is nothing good coming Israel’s way, from Trump stamping around in Gaza. Posted by diver dan, Tuesday, 25 February 2025 3:35:59 PM

Hi ttbn,
>>"Candidate to replace Trudeau, Christia Freeland..." She also says that “Trump represents the greatest threat to Canada since World War Two.”<< Despite Chrystia Freeland’s denials, her grandfather was complicit in the Nazi genocide http://breachmedia.ca/chrystia-freelands-denials-grandfather-complicit-nazi-genocide/ 'A new book provides the most authoritative study of Mykhailo Chomiak and the history of Ukrainian Nazis in Canada' "But the more important elements of Chrystia Freeland’s story are not its inaccuracies, but the enormous amount of information she leaves out. In her telling, her grandparents leap through time and space from 1939 Lviv to the 1945 displaced persons camp in Germany without mentioning Krakow, or Mykhailo’s job as editor-in-chief of the virulently anti-Semitic Krakivski Visti newspaper, his substantial salary from German military intelligence, or his daily collaboration with the SS and the Gestapo over a five-year period from March 1940 to April 1945." Excellent analysis and advice for Australia to consider as part of national, parliamentary and foreign policy debates which are missing in action in our democracy. The forthcoming federal election in Australia in the next two months is an excellent opportunity to review and reset our foreign and defence policies to advance our national and international interests. The major parties are arrogant and disengaged from reality as they compete to serve foreign geo political and geo economic interests especially trying to preserve the unipolar world disorder in European Union, Ukraine, Israel and in our Asia Pacific. It has become very easy for Australian leaders and their deeply brainwashed and compromised advisers and compliant media to outsource our defence and foreign policy to Isreal which according to Prof. Jeffrey Sacks determines US and G7 policies. This is undemocratic, unacceptable and unsustainable. We need a whole-of-nation approach to foreign and defence policy lead by informed Australian citizens, diasporas, civil society to overcomes the current foreign and defence policy disasters.

Just a shame we don`t have the leadership to do so.
