Was Tony Abbot Australia’s worst prime minister? : Comments

By Peter Bowden, published 5/11/2024

This article argues yes. The main reasons are his disastrous and uncaring budget of 2014.

I agree that Abbott, while an extremely effective leader of the opposition, was a very poor prime minister. But why is there no mention of Whitlam as one of Australia's worst ever PMs? I suspect the author chose his historians very carefully before asking them to nominate their choices of Australia's worst PMs!

There is no mention of Whitlam or the current dropkick, Albanese, because Mr. Bowden is a dead-set Leftist, with nothing better to do than vent his opinion, and taking three pages to do it.
