Elle Macpherson's breast cancer: when the media reports on celebrity cancer, are we really getting the whole story? : Comments

In fact, Macpherson appears to have followed recommended treatment for her cancer. She did have surgery, a lumpectomy to remove the DCIS.

She kept it to herself for 7 years. That has to be a first for a ‘celebrity'.

All of that copy the media missed out on! All the “experts” who couldn't get on the bandwagon over someone else's health.

Good on Elle. Thank God that she is better and was able to maintain her privacy when it suited her. Her cancer, her business.
