'Woke' is the latest cultural buzzword that some say is trying to ruin everything we hold dear: our love of bland jokes, questionable statues, and a steadfast refusal to learn new things.

As an old fart who was a 1960s protester , there is a bright side to this woke generation.

Give them 40 or 50 years and they will be getting it back in bucket loads!

The worst current example of ‘woke’ - apart from the disgusting anti-Christian display in the opening ceremony - is the IOC's allowing two male boxers, posing/identifying as women, to fight real women in the games.

The difference between a male punch and a female punch is said to be 162%.

They always waffle on about China & Russia being our enemies, the real enemies are the Western Woke & now they're trying to put Harris up as their puppet !

The effect of woke on humour is one of the most serious restrictions.
It does not seem to be understood that even in medieval times the
court jester could make jokes at the expense of the king.
So surely we can make jokes at the expense of the so fragile and woke
poor soles that cannot see how ridiculous they have become.
There must be a rich field for jokes in the current rumpus over men
boxing with women. Can't think of one, can you ?
