Trumped by a costly ‘computer glitch’ : Comments

By John Mikkelsen, published 23/7/2024

Just imagine what could happen if there was an actual cyber attack by such a powerful player as China, Russia, North Korea or an Evil Axis of all three.

More outages, more often, and still the hillbillies don't get it.

With international heavy hitter Clare O'Neil patrolling cybersecurity, smiting misinformation, and fixing a broken migration system, I think we the little people can feel perfectly safe in our net-zero nirvana.

The article is sensationalist, misleading, and misrepresents the facts surrounding the incident.

The description of the broadcast disruption during Trump's speech, coupled with dramatic language like "miraculous survival" and "sudden cardiac arrest," is obviously designed to provoke unnecessary alarm and emotion.

Comparing the current software glitch to the Y2K Bug is inappropriate. The Y2K bug was a genuine technical problem, the serious implications of which were only avoided through extensive preparation. The present situation involves a specific update glitch, not a fundamental flaw in systems worldwide.

The insinuations about CrowdStrike, BlackRock, Vanguard, and the World Economic Forum are baseless. Presenting these connections as fact without credible evidence fuels unwarranted conspiracy theories. Claims regarding BlackRock's intentions to own American homes or manipulate carbon credits and Bitcoin are unsubstantiated and misleading.

Clare O'Neil's statement about the glitch is cited, and then spun into a broader narrative of governmental distrust and potential malevolence, but is not supported by the facts. The assertion that the debunked covid vaccine conspiracies are now widely accepted as fact is false. The scientific evidence supports the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines.

The warnings against digital IDs and currencies are exaggerated. Scepticism is healthy, but the approach taken in the article amounts to fearmongering.

The lack of credible evidence, reliance on emotional manipulation, and promotion of fear and distrust irretrievably detract from anything that we may have otherwise been able to take away from the incident.

John D The article merely presents legitimate links to statements by others including a University of Queensland academic, and an actual video with Presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr. It is a fact that there are ties between CrowdStrike and the WEF, which as we all know has called for a New World Order and a Great Reset., as well as promoting the theme "You will own nothing and you will be happy."
From Senator Malcolm Roberts:

Our senate office team has checked & found this is accurate
Globalists’ fingers interfere in almost everything
Only One Nation calls out & works to counter Uniparty politicians pushing the globalist agenda
"CrowdStrike, the firm causing a global computer outage, is a WEF partner, largest shareholder is Vanguard"
You might not agree but this site is called Online Opinion for a good reason.

In my opinion, the whole point of this outage was to remind us all how powerless we are in the face of monopoly IT.
