Wind and solar energy have a fatal flaw – intermittency.

There has been more than enough said and written about climate-con, the no-proof carbon dioxide nonsense, the silliness of windmills-for-electricity and shiny solar panels.

The proof that renewables just aren't up to the job has been evident overseas for a long time now.

All we need to fix the problem is politicians with the intelligence and bravery to either go nuclear or go back to cheap, reliable coal. Gas is now too expensive because of the moronic Albanese government.

An election is coming. Stop the natter and vote sensibly.

It seems to me that the powers that be are seeking to operate in an alternate universe.
Have a look at this page and tell me where is all the power going to come from particularly in NSW and Victoria when the black and brown coal power stations close down, even when the sun is shining and the wind is blowing.

Not to mention what happens on a cold winters day when we are sitting under cloud for a couple of days and the wind is blowing put the solar panels are producing Zilch. The batteries will have all gone flat and the dams will all be empty, what then. Houses will all need to install a 5 KVA generator and commercial buildings and something several orders of magnitude larger. It will be impossible for smelters and refineries to even operate.
We need lots of nuclear power, whether it be Thorium or Uranium, but we are already making our run too late.
Woe is us.

Fussing about nuclear after deliberately running down cheap, reliable coal on the whim of a few climate lunatics is pathetic, to say the least. Nuclear won't repair the damage done to the economy and any faith Australians had in the political class.

The Leftist's ABC reports that investors are getting the wobbles about the possibility of nuclear and “whether the renewable industry will continue to have Commonwealth policy support over the next several decades.”

That ‘support’ is the only thing keeping renewables going. It has always been about the money - mainly that of foreigners taking advantage of stupid Australian politicians.

"It's slowing the business down, projects that were meant to be going ahead are being slowed down and there's a wait-and-see attitude being adopted by some”, whines one of the pushers of expensive, unreliable electricity.

One of his projects has been “put on hold indefinitely”, he says.

Sob. Sob. They'll all be turning their pockets out and looking miserable for the camera next.

Even Chris Bowen is worried! That's the bloke who is giving them our money now, to make renewables seem reasonably priced. It's not convincing, though. The twit managed to get his ‘it's all the past government’s fault’ mantra in.

More boo hoo: the money ‘might go back overseas’.

If we had the cheap electricity that we used to have we would get the money back from global industries that were here until too costly wind and solar drove them out.

Even the lack of “bipartisanship” dog on net zero gets a run from the whingers.

The other party started the nonsense, numbnuts. Playing politics doesn't work anymore.

Cant chop a tree down in your back yard but can clear acres of trees to erect wind towers.
It’s ok to cover acres of good grazing country to erect solar panels.
The government pays millions to companies to do these things for what result?
At the end of the day we will be sitting in the cold and dark wondering where it all went wrong.
Start with the clowns running the country right now
