Djokovic acted with much good grace and admirable restraint in the face of the despicable treatment he received at the hands of the Australian Government during Covid.

His refusal to be injected with an experimental vaccine was a perfectly sensible and legitimate choice and one which has since been well and truly vindicated as evidence of its ineffectiveness and damaging side effects continues to build.

The vast majority of Djokovic's long and successful tennis career has been conducted with great discipline and control. Hopefully, this can be generously acknowledged without the petty nit-picking seen here.
