Rapid population growth - and its consequences : Comments

Unrestrained growth has many supporters in the big end of town. But the consequences of rapid growth – fuelled mainly by record immigration under Federal Government policies – are being felt acutely by many more others.

Great article and comments. I agree with Taswegian that the only way to put pressure on the politicians who are selling us and our environment out is at the ballot box. Put the sitting member last and the other major party candidate second last. Rank the other candidates by how offensive they are. Put the party that is in government last in the Senate or upper house. The donors can give the major parties money and give their politicians lucrative sinecures and investment opportunities after they leave politics, but they can't force you to vote for them.
