The last flurry: the US Congress and Australian parliamentarians seek Assange’s release : Comments

On February 20, Julian Assange, the daredevil publisher of WikiLeaks, will be going into battle, yet again, with the British justice system – or what counts for it.

Yuyutsu,

You can look at the development of British justice in parallel with the development of civilisation and be in awe of how far a species of clever monkeys have come. Remember that you look upon the evil past with the wisdom passed down through the centuries, but maybe you just stretched out your arms and imbibed your wisdom from the celestial ether?

Julian Assange is a horrible little man.

He named informants, dissidents and human rights activists who had helped the US and its allies in Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan putting their lives at risk.

A number had to be relocated. Indeed some later disappeared, presumed murdered.

Information supplied by Assange was found in Osama bin Laden's hideout in Pakistan.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Assange and believe he should be held accountable for what he has done.
