The most ridiculous outcome you could imagine. You couldn't make this stuff up.

We must go nuclear and electrify our economy ASAP. We've listened to prevaricating politicians for decades. If they won't budge, they must go! Particularly the anti-nuclear, anti-development greens!

Friends of the environment recognise that nuclear does not produce CO2! Moreover, doesn't tank the economy like pumped hydro, battery backed renewables assuredly must!

To make any progress we need to stop the progressives in order to reintroduce & foster the mentality that gets the masses thinking of more than grog, drugs & tattoos.

The Prince of Darkness AKA Chris Bowen doesn't want Nuclear. He would rather spend $1T on renewables and candles.

Shadowminister,
Heard on ABC Radio this morning that Australia will receive its first nuclear sub in 2032.
If Bowen & his crowd initiated small nuclear power plants around the Nation in the meantime, the environmental & economic savings in power generation would help pay for at least a couple of those by then outdated subs. Coast based missile stations would be even more effective & most likely cheaper than subs & without doubt more sensible. No difficult rescue operations need either on land based facilities.
