It was later, in 2002, that I first had occasion to look at that Class of '53 to see if I could find out what had happened to the top 10 achievers of that year.

When that fell apart, Hasbeen. I suspect about the time or shortly after, the cane was banned in school?

Yes Hasbeen, Money may not make one happy, but it helps to take the misery out of life.

I feel for those families that cannot earn enough now to pay the rent and put food on the table, because of the current cost of energy in all its facets and flow on factors, and the price gouging taking place across supermarkets etc.

All because of a self-imposed and asinine embargo on nuclear energy. And even more stupid privatisation of public cash cow amenity. That forced the private sector to compete for the consumers dollar!

Not all price rises are price gouging but are forced business by the cost of energy. And understandable when the power bill exceeds the wages bill by a factor of 2-3 times currently?
