Do you see what I see? (Many would see an empty office. I see a future classroom) : Comments

But as our cities hurtle toward the addition of over a million new residents, there's a conversion opportunity which to me makes a lot of sense, and one which could be achieved at lower conversion costs.

"As our cities hurtle toward the addition of over a million new residents, there's a conversion opportunity."

A concise (though unintended) summary of Chalmers and Albanese feeding the rich. Costello and Howard are laughing their heads off.

The only 'conversation' should be about stopping the immigration madness, and deporting all non-citizens.

Despite the fact that there are too many people in Australia (most new arrivals nothing like the host population), the incompetent gits in Queensland are going to import foreign cops!

Australia is rooted.

Disagree! Your Hong Kong example is not suited to a country the size of Australia. We do have space!

What we do need is rapid rail and new rezoned urban development along the resumed 2-3 wide corridor, which by the way, would all but pay for the railway build, trains and rolling stock.

further development in Brisbane is just too expensive for the average punter, who would fare better out in the suburbs where his/her customers live!

Empty inner-city rooms are ultra expensive white elephants that you would have the government/taxpayer pay for!

No thanks mate, save that solution for places that lack room and folk need to be packed like canned sardines!

In Melbourne private Haileybury College, with main campus in outer eastern suburbs, Keysborough, has a city based campus too.

Caters to those living in north, west and inner city, while cutting down student commutes dramatically e.g. up to an hour both ways to CBD vs. up to three hours for outer east.
