In a historic win for investigative journalism Federal Court Justice Anthony Besanko threw out the defamation case brought by Ben Roberts-Smith.

Trial by media has prevented a fair trial for alleged war crimes. In the fog of war many bad things happen and in all wars.

Not that long ago we knew who the enemy was, now they hide among civilian populations and pretend to be the good guys.

None of this would have happed if we'd stayed out of Afghanistan!

Well, that may be one part of it but I maintain without the benefit of National Service character-building/development with a strong focus on integrity, Western society will only pick up speed on it's downward journey !

Investigative Journalism is a good thing, it's its journalists who fail it !
