The US and the EU need a new roadmap to solve the Serbia-Kosovo conflict : Comments

By Alon Ben-Meir, published 20/6/2023

A resolution to their conflict cannot be found unless the EU and the US develop a clearly articulated cost-and-benefit strategy cushioned by a realistic process of reconciliation.

The first thing which elites in the US and EU must do is to acknowledge that their policy of ignoring international law and forcing Serbia to agree to partitioning of their country to KLA terrorists is the root cause of the problem. NATO bombarded Serbia for 72 days and destroyed at least $100 Billion in infrastructure and killed thousands of innocent people. NATO also used depleted uranium in both Serbia and Kosovo. Reckless Western elites forced many countries like Australia to recognise Kosovo without any proper consideration of the international law breaches, ethics and sustainability of this puppet statelet. Many countries don't recognise the illegal and shambolic protectorate including India, China, Russia, Greece and many others. The West has provided backing for the creation of a Greater Albania which would include Albania, Kosovo and Macedonia. This will lead to a new war which no sane person or state wants or needs.

Only 2 or 3 men stand in the way of peace and prosperity, and should they continue, they need to be removed permanently!

Moreover, Russia could be offered EU membership, conditional on certain outcomes.

"...is fearful of Putin's ire should he toe the Western line, particularly now as the Ukraine war is raging. Finally, he refused to join the sanctions against Russia, and is unlikely to change his position as long as Putin is in power."

...And that's where I stop reading.
Serbians are staunch supporters of Russia.
Vucic would lose power if he supported the West over Russia.
Of course he's not going to go against the will of the people.

Bloody Americans mate, they falsely assume the whole world wants to be just like them, they can't even comprehend anything different, or else our esteemed author is outright lying.

Serbians despise NATO and the US for bombing the hell out of their country.

Alan B, Russia will never trust the West or the EU again.
Besides that why would they want to be part of a bloc that hates them?
Why would any country want to be a part of the EU that threatens and bullies all it's member states to do as they are told?
