ttbn,
Well, Labor is buying lots of votes that way. How are the intakes during conservative Govt ?
I could be wrong but it seems to me that Labor are the main recruiters ! PS Unions ensure that incompetence is not addressed & so the show goes on until the private sector can no longer create sufficient revenue to sponsor the massive public sector. We're not far off that point !

ttbn,
I've lost count how many times I said that Australia's worst enemy is from within.
Perhaps the nuclear Subs crewed by LGBTIMSFKR?X%$#@ will fire cruise missiles armed with flowers & scented condoms & used needles.

"How are the intakes during conservative Govt ?"

I have to say, what conservative governments?

And yes. Australians can be their own worst enemies and they can truly be said to get the governments they deserve. Covid showed how weak and reliant they are. But it's not just here.

I'm reading a book 'The Great Reset' by American Marc Morano, and Americans in general were just as compliant and equally controlled by the government during Covid even when their instincts told them that lockdowns, masks and vaccines were not protecting anyone.

There is no real clamour for the politicians and bureaucrats who took away their freedoms to be brought to book because they know that they went along with totalitarianism willingly because they were scared and convinced that only Big Brother could help them.

People will accept the Great Reset as well - there are already parts of it in operation now, and people don't realise it or don't care.

So, yes. The general population is as much to blame - for everything - as the politicians they keep voting for.t
