Some insecurity and history of personal betrayals has greatly enhanced Anwar's deep sense of Machiavellian instincts.

Malaysian politics is a dog's breakfast of betrayal and counter betrayal. Had this man been handed the reins of PM when promised by that power junkie Dr Mata, ha, ha, Malaysia could have gone ahead in much faster leaps and bounds.

Given it was Anwar who orchestrated/engineered the economic miracle that was Malaysia at the end of Dr M's term. And when betrayed with BS charges and Malaysia left in the hands of demonstrably incompetent DR M. It went steadily backwards.

Anwar is without question the most competent economic manager Malaysia has ever had. And like any natural born leader has and ego that's a danger to shipping.

Treasure him because he's the best you've had and ever likely to have. And given his head will do more to unite a deeply divided and fractured nation than any other.
