This regime acts with impunity and does so because China is a Neighbour. This cannot continue, China or no China and this rogue nation endlessly threatening behavior must have escalating consequences.
China does not want a nuclear strike on its doorstep! And therefore, there will be no preemptive strike. It's all bluster and bluff for domestic purposes and ought to eventually, after fair warning, result in a few hypersonic cruise missiles aimed at the missile launching pad or bedroom window of the divine leader. When we know for sure and certain he is at home and asleep in his beddy-bye's If one carries a big stick in a velvet glove? Then the stick needs to be used when appropriate, to maintain a deterrent effect! Alan B. Posted by Alan B., Wednesday, 12 October 2022 11:21:37 AM

I accept North Korea's nuclear status as a nation with nuclear weapons.
After giving up its nuclear ambitions in a 2003 deal Libya was overthrown by the US government, so with this in mind why would North Korea ever give up it's nukes? I wouldn't, and it's no wonder they sought to acquire them, I would've. It's insurance against overthrow by the United States, who is the only nation to ever actually use them. The US isn't going to invade a nuclear armed country. "helping Syria construct a nuclear reactor in the early 2000s" - So what? All nations have a right to access nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, read the Statute of the IAEA. ARTICLE III: Functions A. The Agency is authorized: 2. To make provision, in accordance with this Statute, for materials, services, equipment, and facilities to meet the needs of research on, and development and practical application of, atomic energy for peaceful purposes, including the production of electric power, with due consideration for the needs of the under-developed areas of the world; Look what the US did to Syria and Libya. In Syria the US has been stealing millions of dollars of oil since 2014, whilst Syrians are starving. The US took control of their oil and food crops to have leverage over them. The west uses food as a weapon. Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 12 October 2022 4:27:32 PM

You mentioned sanctions 3 times, here's one instance. "Concurrently, the U.S., ROK, Japan and other allies should maintain strong pressure on the Kim regime via strict implementation of all UNSC and unilateral sanctions." It's clear you support sanctions. - And in my opinion that makes you worse than whatever you accuse Kim of being. Sanctions are collective punishment against a whole nation, and used in conjunction with fermenting civil unrest, protests and regime change, all a part of the US playbook. The US deliberately forces collective punishment on entire nations in the hope they rise up and overthrow their government. Collective punishment is part of the United States modus operadi. The West uses food, money, trade, all as weapons and overthrows even democratically elected leaders as they see fit. The US is the problem, and they are also the only nation to ever blow up entire cities of people when they didn't even have to, Japan would've soon surrendered anyway, in a war that the US goaded them into, as the US likes to do. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCollum_memo Hague Regulations (1907) Article 50 of the 1907 Hague Regulations provides: “No general penalty, pecuniary or otherwise, shall be inflicted upon the population on account of the acts of individuals for which they cannot be regarded as jointly and severally responsible.” The world will never become a better place so long as the US leads it. If you're happy with the sanctions and the overthrows, then I'm happy with others having nukes. Maybe North Korea should freely offer it's nuclear weapons technology to all the nations the west has overthrown or seeks to overthrow? - It's not a part of the Non-Proliferation Treaty anyway, and neither is India, Pakistan or Israel, (neighbour of previously mentioned Syria) Posted by Armchair Critic, Wednesday, 12 October 2022 4:47:21 PM

Tens of thousands of people are dying every week right now because of the Unites States policies of sanctions and overthrows. How did you think the situation in Ukraine came about? - US Overthrows and Sanctions - Lots of people in Europe will freeze in their beds this winter, and their stupid lapdog leaders have successfully permanently destroyed their own economies, there will be no more cheap energy from Russia. I guess the only card the West has to play now is to try to have Putin ousted, (Europe will never get cheap energy now otherwise) or else the US will let off a low-yeild nuke in Ukraine and blame it on Putin, (They seem to be implying it will happen - because they themselves are planning it) and we all know it was the US that blew up Nordstream, even if others don't want to admit it.
