By Chris Curtis, published 27/9/2022

The Liberal Party is simply a decade or more behind the Labor Party in adjusting to social change.

Yes. Irrelevant is another word to describe the Liberal party. Too much like Labor, and with a frightened leader.

Give me a break, <the liberals are no longer a conservative party>. Wrong, there have been fewer and fewer liberals in a misnamed conservative party.

And with Howard, moving further and further to the right. So much so, there's little to distinguish them from the neo-Nazis or the white supremists.

And as dumb as they come economically!

A shared brain would be lonely.

Give them their head and freedom to "make money" And with that paradigm in play, watch the economy shrink and shrink with an ever-growing cohort of have nots.

They want to pay less and less tax or no tax, yet expect to drive on taxpayer funded roads and have their health concerns addressed as first in line, in taxpayer funded hospitals, etc-etc.

Labor leads while the Liberals follow? You should get out more often. The reality is that Labor has converged towards the Liberals, and become an authoritarian neoliberal party just like them.

As I like to say, the Liberals feed the rich and flog the environment with total glee, Labor does the same, while professing regret.

Whatever they are they are no longer middle of the road and their integrity has been compromised.
