I have a couple of points:

You say that traditional marriage is beneficial to parents, children and society as a whole. I agree with you. However, the government has also introduced a lot of legislation which financially rewards parents in de facto relationships as though they were married. Do you disagree with this legislation?

And at the same time, should the government also be legislating to reduce the increasing number of divorces in Australia?

My second point is with regard to your unreferenced "benefits and advantages of traditional marriage". Are you comparing these benefits to the negative aspects of single parents, divorced couples and parents in de facto relationships or specifically to families with homosexual parents? I would like to read more about the disadvantages of being in a homosexual relationship/family. Where did get this study?
