An increasingly diverse society calls for inclusive leadership : Comments

By Christopher Gross, published 18/7/2022

Now picture this, as a leader, not only do you have to adapt to an ever-evolving world but you're also tasked with the responsibility of helping others to do the same.

What businesses do and how they do it, with whom, is entirely up to them.

A good leader has an open mind and open ears and willing to give credit where it is due! That said, don't see very much of that in politics today! Where our best and brightest are ignored then when they've left the building, their ideas implemented with someone else taking the credit and kudos?

And why we've such paltry politicians always toeing some party line and little else. Simply throwing borrowed money at problems they could and should fix with the right solutions! Like the exponentially rising cost of energy that could be 1 cent PKWH with the right, but routinely ignored solution, i.e., MSR thorium!

A good leader still has his own mind and is not owned by this or that vested interest, magnate or union! And accepts advice on merit! Rather than a rusted on position! The latter par for the course today!?

A good leader will take one look at the miserable lot he'd have to juggle & just shake his/her head & walk away !
I think that's what's happening lately !

Increasing diverse society calls for absolutely idiotic leadership. The last thing we need is more people with divided loyalty, when we don't really know where our next challenge is likely to come from.

It takes a long time for migrants to be assimilated, feel they are Ozzies, & become loyal citizens. Yes some may be assimilated quickly, but for many it is a generational thing. We need a pause in all migration to give us time to absorb, if it is even possible, the huge influx of the last decade.

We have far too much diversity, any increase at the moment is criminal

'An increasingly diverse society calls for inclusive leadership'

On face value, it sounds like he wants an indigenous or foreign trans person as our next PM.
- Probably wont be long.

Article wasn't as bad as the title lead me to believe though.

This bloke is an African and what he is really saying is "You smart white people have to give us blacks a free run and put us into managrial positions because of our skin colour."

No way, Jose.

What made the western democracies so strong was because we are supposed to be meritocracies. Just promoting people because of their skin colour does not wash. I feel sorry that certain ethnicities have a much lower IQ than Jews, Asians, and Caucasians, but that is reality. If you can't make it in the western world then perhaps you should return to your native land where you might better fit in?
