Australia is always set to have fires, floods, droughts, cyclones, and earthquakes. Not "more", just the usual; although there have been fewer lately despite the climate hysteric's denials.

The people accusing other people of being 'climate deniers' are actually denying the nature of their own country, about which they know bugger-all, or they are just lying in the cause of their religion and making heaps of money out of the climate scam.

There is no "disaster" to prepare for. No "climate emergency''. And the Australian people know it:

A Lowy Institute report released on 28/6/22 reveals that climate change scaremongering has taken a backseat to the China threat and Russia. Attitudes to China have "hardened", with 75% of Australians believing that China will be a military threat in the next 20 years - up from 46% in 2018.

As for 'agencies'. Well, isn't the multimillion dollar agency in NSW, with its fancy uniformed (boof) head doing a wonderful job with flood-affected victims!

This bloke is an American, who at the end of his article recommends apeing California, the state that people are leaving in droves for the sanity of Texas and Florida.

Well, for cyclones and earthquakes, we can alter the building codes to survive completely intact.

Fire management requires fuel reduction programs that are good for any time of the year! And for mine that means herd grazing by goats behind mobile electric fences. And must include national parks and forest reserves.

Flood management includes quite monumental rule changes that allow myriad upland dams and massive water retained in the environment, to then trickle out to the waterways during the following season/years.

The same management also assists to mitigate against droughts. What is needed is the removal of the power of councils and state governments to prevent such works but encourage them via grants and tax breaks.

After that all that we can do to mitigate against climate change needs to be on the table. And must include carbon free nuclear power as MSR thorium and energy prices as low as 1 cent PKWH. That outcome all but guarantees a stampede to comply!

Unless you are led by the brain dead and choose intermitant renewables and a tanked economy the guaranteed outcome of that absolute asinine stupidity! TBC.

Despite the public’s lack of concern about the climate, Bowen has vowed to plough ahead when parliament opens, with the ridiculous figure of 43% reduction in emissions "a floor not a ceiling". He and his fellow nutters are hell bent on actually writing this rubbish into law!

But Bowen has also ruled out a ban on future gas and coal projects. Split personality, as well as all of his other problems?

Every year we pump millions of litres of waste and storm water out to sea. All the prevents us pumping the same water to a parched inland is the energy component required and its cost. That impediment would no longer apply if the energy required cost just 1 cent PKWH.

Moreover that same energy at that cost would make massive deionization dialysis desalination projects, cost effective for broad scale agriculture, as well as turning inexhaustable seawater into very affordable fuels, plastics and fertilizers using known and dated science.

That power source limited to MSR thorium and or MSR re-tasked as a nuclear waste burning technology.

The only changes we need are the removal of the roadblock naysayers who stand in the way as they protect this or that vested interest that would suffer some financial harm via this change!

When your house is on fire you need water to put it out! Not foreign investors protecting their patch/financial (coal-fired and or, renewable) investments! TBC.

If I could get a Dollar for every time I've talked about this idiocy I wouldn't need a Pension !
Flood Lake Eyre & recharge the great Australian Basin. There isn't a better infrastructure to be had than that for long-term employment, real estate, environmental benefits etc etc ! A railway could be put there for several new towns along with your Thorium plants. Why can't this get the support of all Australians ?
Are Australians really their own worst enemy ? Perhaps a WW3 will bring another load of European refugees to build it just as it was done with the Snowy scheme ?
