I identify with British Culture of which Anglicanism is part but it seems that David Hale has lost his allegiance to it's core.
David F said- Colloquial speech is often ethnocentric equating the culture that the speaker identifies with as somewhat superior and better than other cultures.
Answer- Things that David F say also seem to be self serving and involving "superiority". But there's a difference between superiority and superior- some things are superior to others. I don't think it's possible for people to avoid bias- and it wouldn't be right if people weren't biased- but maybe we can realise enlightened self interest- understand that we need to exchange resources that we can't produce ourselves with other communities- learn to live peaceful lives without excess profligacy enjoying the small communities of our families and our extended families and extending outwards in proportion to our influence.
